Forming part of the commune of Pugnac.

Our estate, which already had some importance a century ago, stretches over 150 uninterrupted acres straddling two famous appellation zones : Premières Côtes de Blaye and Côtes de Bourg.

The clay-siliceous and silty soil of our vineyard gives our wine all its richness as well as allowing the cultivation of grape varieties like Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon and Cabernet Franc. The harvest is in the following proportions : Merlot (64 %) ; Cabernet Sauvignon (25%) ; Cabernet Franc (11%). Today our vineyard covers an area of 40.46 acres(16,18 hectares) : 36.03 acres (Première Côtes de BLAYE) add 4.43 acres (Côtes de BOURG).

Over the centuries, the work of man has shaped the landscape of the Bourg-sur-Gironde district which is now referred to as the "Little Switzerland of the Gironde", on account of its green and hilly appearance. The climate, however, is mild and even dryer here than anywhere else in the country!
